Update: this script is compatible with Photoshop 7. A Photoshop CS is version is available as part of The Variations Suite under the name Signature Variations.

This script is designed to add a signature or watermark to an image. It is intended for use on 8-bit images that are ready for web posting. It is not ready for use "straight out of the box" as it is necessary to edit the script using Notepad or other text editor to customise the settings for your own use. You can set:

• Signature text (obviously )
• Position and direction of text. Currently only four positions are allowed as shown here.
• Font can be changed, although there seems to be a bug in that only fonts that have a one word name can be used successfully
• Text shading can be specified as light on dark or vice versa
• Opacity can be adjusted
• Text colour can be adjusted

There are more detailed instructions embedded in the script to help you configure it. Here's an example showing a Position 2 signature.
