Give the action a name and, if you wish, you can assign a function key and/or a colour code to the action:

Photoshop is now recording; any processing commands you execute will be stored for re-use. For this example, I executed the commands:

- Image>Adjustments>Levels

- Filter>Sharpen>Unsharp Mask

Click the Actions tab and you should see something like this:

The "recording" button is still lit, so stop recording by pressing the square button to its left.
