I think I must have a bit of a bag fetish. Over the years, I've amassed an unnecessarily large collection of Tumi cases, brief cases, PC cases, shoulder bags and handbags. I think that I've done pretty well to restrict myself to only this small number of camera bags. :)

The problem is... there's no such thing as the perfect bag for all situations: backpacks take a lot of stuff and are easy to carry, but a real PITA to use - not to mention the danger that you forget to zip it up correctly and some expensive bit of kit drops 3 ft to the floor.
