The Leshan Buddha is at 71m (233 ft) the tallest stone buddha in the world. It's carved out the cliff-face at the confluence of three rivers: the Minjiang, Dadu and Qingyi. These are a few pictures of the statue and surrounds taken from one of the many boats that take tourists.
