These pictures were taken a couple of days after my 10D came back from servicing. Everything seemed to be working with 70-200 LIS lens that had also been serviced, but I wanted to try the 135/2, which is my favourite lens. I was in the back garden and spotted honeybees collecting from the delicate blue flowers of whatever this plant is (if anyone know, please let me know). I took the shots because I though it would be a good test of the AF (in single shot mode), but I didn't expect very much from them, but when I "developed" them, I was amazed at the detail. The pictures in the gallery are crops of various sizes. Only the second is actually 100%, the others have been downsized to have a long side of 720 pixels from a variety of larger sizes: 1100 x 1100, 1800 x 1200, 1250 x 1250...
