In late spring 2007, we visited Hangzhou, China, which has many sites and attractions; photographs of some of these can be found in the Hangzhou Galleries. One day we took a trip to visit the ancient water-town of Wuzhen, which is reckoned to be 2,000 years old. It is claimed that people have lived on the site for 7,000 years! It is listed as a candidate for UNESCO World Heritage site status.

Wuzhen is famous for, among other things, tea-rooms and canals. These pictures don't show any tea-rooms, but do show some pcitures of the canals and neigbouring houses.
