Configuration

Here's how my Preferences are configured:

Usually, I permanently delete images rather than having them moved to the DELETED folder. Although, I will sometimes use this folder to aid in selecting images. The "deleted" images in DELETED are used for further work.

The other settings are "defaults" that I haven't found the need to change.

I use the monitor profile that I have created with Adobe Gamma, and the sRGB colour space for image display as a convenience.

I prefer not to use the CONVERTED folder as this makes life awkward when it comes to archive raw images, so I have created ..\Photo Lab\<year> as the folder to which converted files are sent. BreezeBrowser will create the <month> and <day> folders for me.

I have set TIFF resolution to 240, which is the best setting for my Epson 2000P.

Thread priority is low, so that I can switch BreezeBrowser to the background and work on another app with less interference. If BB stays in the foreground, then conversion goes pretty much at full speed.

Because I invariably shoot raw and convert to linear TIFF and process with LinearSharpen, I don't want any embedded profiles.
