Here's the dialogue window for conversion. Most of the time, I'll convert to 16-bit linear TIFF. Unless I have shot an image that includes a gray card, I use auto white balance. And obviously, I don't want any of the post-processing options that BB offers:
If I'm downloading images for the first time that day, I can browse for the output directory, type in the day and have BB create the new folder automatically:
Click on [Convert All], and go and pour a gin and tonic:
