This isn't a systematic assessment of the 10D's performance at high ISO. My 10D has returned from service (see the 10D Blog) and I advertently took a bunch of pictures at ISO 1600 - forgetting one of my own rules: "always check the settings".

I was so impressed with the quality of the images that I decided to post a selection to show what the camera can do. All the images were converted and sharpened using Capture One Limited Edition from Phase One with no additional processing in Photoshop other than downsizing with Fred Miranda's 10D Web Presenter.
