Mostl components of The Variations Suite are installed in the same way. Please refer to the page, Installing V-Suite Scripts, for instructions on how to install and configure V-Suite scripts. If you have Photoshop CS installed in the default location on drive C, you will probably not need to make any configuration changes to the V-Suite scripts. Watermark Variations CS2 has a separate user manual that includes detailed instructions.
For a general explanation of using a V-Suite script, please refer to Using V-Suite Scripts. Any differences for a specific component will be noted on the page for that module.
Variations Suite scripts will work on both 8-bit and 16-bit images, and will use the colour space of the active image when creating the previews.
Scripts have been created using JavaScript and should be compatible with both Windows and Mac platforms. However, The Variations Suite has been developed entirely under Windows XP® and we have not been able to test them on the Mac. Please let us know of any problems you may encounter.
The scripts in The Variations Suite are compatible with Photoshop CS and Ohotoshop CS2 (not all scripts run on both) and will not run in previous versions of Photoshop.
No guarantees are provided for the scripts and actions that comprise The Variations Suite. We
don't think that anything can happen other than the fact that you might not like the end result, but don't come crying to us, if you've damaged the only copy of an irreplaceable image.
