AE (Adaptive Equalisation) Variations is now available. I got the idea for this script when I was developing DIY Variations. I've always had a lot of fun with the Adaptive Equalisation filter from Reindeer Graphics. The AE filter increases detail: high settings give interesting and pleasing effects as in this example, but you can use a very light application, perhaps, with layer masking to emphasise detail in an image without the results advertising that the filter has been used. AE Variations does what all the Variations Suite scripts do: show you previews and make it easy to decide which variation you prefer.
Download the user manual (requires Adobe Reader V7) for a detailed explanation of what AE Variations can do.
AE Variations CS2 is available for free download. AE Variations CS2 is compatible with Adobe Photoshop CS and Photoshop CS2, but not with Photoshop 7. The Adaptive Equalisation filter must be downloaded and installed separately.
AE Variations CS2 is a component of The Variations Suite and is copyright © 2003-2006 Roger Cavanagh.
