Start Temperature Variations using File>Scripts>VS-Temps or TemperatureVariationsCS2 (depending on version).
Select the options you want to apply.
Click 
to create the Previews document.
Inspect Previews and check the treatment you prefer.
Click 
to process your picture with the selected treatment and options.
