Introduction
Watermark Variations Plus II (WV2+) is now available. It is a significant upgrade to the previous version combining the functionality of both Signature Variations Plus and Watermark Variations Plus, enabling graphic and text watermarks/signatures to be added to the target image at the same time. This gives the ability, for example, to add a scanned signature and a proof watermark as in this example, or use a signature and add a line of EXIF data as shown here. The positioning and style of the two types of watermark can be independently controlled.
This version of Watermark Variations is only compatible with Adobe Photoshop CS; the version for Photoshop CS2 is here. There are no plans to offer a standard edition of Watermark Variations. The standard version of Signature Variations remains the free script.
Installation
The download Zip contains two scripts - "VS-WatermarkPlusII.js" and "VS-WatermarkPlusII-batch.js" - and an action set - "Watermark Variations Plus II.atn". Click the link, if you need help with installation:

Operation
To start the script, use File>Scripts and choose the "VS-WatermarkPlusII". When the dialogue window opens, you should specify the settings for the text watermark (left-hand side of the window) and/or the settings for the image watermark. You may choose either one or both - leave the Watermark Text box or the Watermark Image box empty as you require. Use <Tab> and <Shift><Tab> to move from field to field. You can use the cursor to jump to any field, but when you change an item
be sure to hit the <Tab> so that the change to the settings is registered. (It seems to be a little foible of Scripting that the original value is not always remembered otherwise.) Click
here to see a screen shot for WV2+. Here's an
example processed with the settings displayed; each of the items is explained in the following pages.
