Click [Preferences] to open the Preference Setting dialogue. The following settings can be adjusted:
Auto Settings 1-4: These are the custom labels for the auto-settings buttons. You may enter text to change the label. You do not need to enter the ® to identify a registered button as this is automatically added by the script. Defaults values are "Auto 1" to "Auto 4".
Auto-exit: Check this option, if you wish to have the script close when a watermark has been applied. This affects the [Apply] and [Auto 1] - [Auto 4] buttons. The default is unchecked.
Nudge Pixels: this is the default amount by which the watermark will be moved away from the edges. For example, the default value is 10. In the top left corner position, the watermark would be applied 10 pixels across and 10 pixels down (measured to the top left corner of the watermark). It is applied to all positions except the central one and only in one direction - away from the nearest edge - for positions in the middle of a side. Tip: if you often use offsets (for instance, because you use borders) you will probably find it easier to set the nudge value to 0.
Fonts per Page: the number of fonts listed per page when the [Fonts] button is clicked. The default is 30.
Optional Alerts: Some messages are for information only. For example, when a settings file is saved an alert message appears. You must click [OK] to dismiss the message. If you uncheck this option, these alerts will not appear, but a beep is played to indicate the requested action has taken place. Default is on.
Use EXIF in tokens: EXIF data values are extracted from image properties for token substitution in the text watermark. On my system, this is quite slow. If you do not plan to use EXIF data tokens regularly, performance will be slightly improved by unchecking this option. Default is on.
Click [Save] to store the setting in "wm2.prefs.txt" in the default folder. If you wish to restore the default settings, delete this file.
